Surface Finishing
The treatment of metal surfaces is important for extending the life of the metals (improved corrosion resistance and hardening) or simply for achieving decorative effects. The treatment process encompasses cleaning and degreasing, grinding, deburring and polishing, and the coating process itself.
Powder Coating and Corrosion Protection
Color, Black, or White:
Using our state-of-the-art equipment, we can coat the sheet-metal and die-cast parts (aluminum, magnesium, zinc) in the color of your choice – whether you need a special coating to protect against corrosion or dirt, or a special color finish that will really make your product stand out. We offer a wide range of colors for you to choose from.
High-gloss Powder Coating:
If you want your sheet-metal parts or die-cast products to have a sophisticated high-gloss black or white coating, it’s no problem for our specialists.
Chrome-look Surface Finish:
We offer a chrome-free surface finish that helps protect the environment without having to compromise on quality.
Lettering – Pad Printing
To apply lettering to workpieces, we use the pad printing process. Simply give us your artwork and we will produce the printing block and the print.
Chrome-free Cleaning and Degreasing
Since November 1, 2005, we have been complying with the valid RoHS* (Restriction of Hazardous Substance) directives of the EU for chrome-free passivation/post-rinsing and clean and degrease aluminum die castings, aluminum components or sheets, as well as iron components and iron sheets on our state-of-the-art, CHC-free and environmentally friendly immersion and spraying system. We achieve equivalent conversion coatings as with conventional, environmentally harmful chromating and this without any loss of quality.
* RoHS = Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
Grinding / Deburring / Polishing
We can grind parts, remove any burrs as necessary, or polish everything to a mirror finish. With our state-of-the-art systems, we can ensure flawless finished products. If necessary, we will even give the product one last buff by hand!
Drag Grinding
The drag grinding process is a further development of the vibratory grinding technique. In drag grinding technology, the workpieces are mounted on holders and pulled through the grinding wheels or polishing granules with coordinated process settings. This ensures that no damage occurs to the workpieces during the actual grinding or polishing process. This type of deburring allows the machining process to be controlled with almost second-by-second accuracy. This results in very high process reliability.
